Balance & Stability with Breaking Branches Health & Fitness

Balance & Stability is a gentle yet effective movement class designed to help older adults improve core stability, balance, coordination, and joint flexibility. Through guided stretches, low-impact resistance training, and functional exercises, participants will build strength, reduce fall risk, and feel more agile in everyday life. Self-Breema

Nurturing and energizing self-care exercises can bring balance to the body, vitality to the mind, and cultivate connection to the heart. Using Breema’s universal principles of harmony, such as Body Comfortable and No Force, individuals will benefit from the effect of these gentle exercises which can be done sitting or standing, no matter their abilities. Tai Chi 1 (Beginner)

Join instructor Mary Newbill for Yang Style Tai Chi for health and fun! Tai Chi strengthens our Chi, or life force, building muscle, balance and health.

Slow, relaxed movement coordinated with breath becomes meditation, improves posture and flexibility, and elevates mood while reducing falls for seniors. Medical research reports improvement in joint pain, arthritis, and many diseases.
In the beginner class, you will earn the first half of Cheng Man-Ching’s Short Form, with applications Qi Gong.

Registration closes one week prior to class start date and is required on a monthly basis.
