Classes include gentle stretching, slow intentional movement, focused breathing, and visualization while standing, seated in chairs, and on yoga mats for supported whole-body relaxation.  Please bring personal props. Mind(full) Aging: Anxiety Skill-Builders Group

There are many reasons why anxiety can increase as we age, and it is easy to become overwhelmed by worry, discomfort, and sleepless nights. There is no ‘quick fix’ but there are many tools that we can use to calm both the body and the mind. In this group, we will practice practical applications for anxiety reduction.

NOTE: This group is funded by the City of Shoreline. All are welcome; however, priority is given to Shoreline residents who meet income requirements. Please call 425-382-3015 for more information and to register.

Mondays 9:30 am—10:00 am

Series Meets: 9/14, 9/28, 10/26, 11/9, 11/23, and 12/7
