Living Alone with (Minimal) Fear

Aging-related losses can make us question our ability to continue to live safely and comfortably in our own home. Join us for a conversation about assessing and reducing risk. From a mental health perspective, we will talk about ways in which anxiety and worry can cause us to exaggerate perceived threat while simultaneously undermining our ability to deal with that threat effectively. We will also spend a lot of time in problem-solving mode, where participants will be encouraged to share practical strategies and personal tips with others. Registration required.

Mind(full) Aging: Share Space/Grief

Loss is an inevitable part of living and loving. It is painful, ever-changing, and too often experienced in isolation.
