Computers & Technology

In order to be assured of your space in a class, or to make sure a class will be held, register & pay fees at least 3 days before the class date.

Please Note: The classes are designed for PCs only; sorry no Macs at this time

The Senior Center has a Windows 7 PC. If you have a laptop you are encouraged to bring it to class. If your laptop has windows 10, our instructor can help you with that program. Please ask for Windows 10 instruction time.

Computer and Camera Instruction
2:00 - 4:00 pm
Per hour (one hour minimum)
Members: $22.00, Non-members: $25.00

Instructor: Dick Harrison
Individual instruction with computer/point and shoot camera skills can be provided by appointment with our computer instructor, Dick Harrison.  Instruction is available for any of the following areas:
  • Computer Basics (PC, not Apple)
  • Intermediate Computer, including instruction in Microsoft Word or Excel
  • Digital Camera Basics (for point-and-shoot cameras, not SLRs)
  • Tablets & Cell phones (Android, not Apple)
  • Working with digital picture files, taken with a camera or cell phone
  • Email which includes sending attachments
  • File transfer and management
  • Help with Facebook, Skype.

Cancellations: Please notify the center 48 hours in advance if you must cancel an appointment. Refunds may or may not be given. 

Please note: Computers are available for use by center participants when not in use for instruction or for a class. Check with the Front Desk for an available time. 


Please make payments for classes at the Front Desk. Please prepay for each month or sessions of classes in which you participate. Canisters for fees will be provided in facilitated classrooms.

All classes, activities and events arranged at this Senior Center are for the convenience and pleasure of the participants who desire to attend.
